Pathways to Reconciliation

To plan and implement activities and events to share, illuminate and promote understanding of the 94 calls to action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in the community of West
Vancouver. The 4 components are Reading Circles, an exhibition on residential school history, a film series and a panel discussion.
Nature of the Project Reach
The project is designed to reach the residents and community stakeholders of West Vancouver.
1. To deepen understanding of the history of Canada and the role of individuals and communities in moving toward reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
2. To connect the community through shared experiences.
3. To increase the sense of belonging for diverse groups within the community.
4. To increase community readiness and access to resources to pursue reconciliation.
