The Natural History of Canada project at Mont Saint-Grégoire offers five educational activities for the general public or the children attending the day camp CIME and stressing the emblems of nature, representative of Canada to celebrate its 150th anniversary: great entertainment public Surviving the cold Canadian animation on natural emblems of Canada at the open House, design 3 day camp activities on natural emblems of Canada, community picnic in the middle of nature with historical theatrical intervention planting memorial trees
Nature of the Project Reach
The project will target youth who participate in day camp CIME, to visitors who come to the open houses and those involved in the business survive the winter and green and cultural picnic. It therefore touches people of Haut-Richelieu and various municipalities of the Montérégie.
The five activities will allow participants to gain a better understanding of certain aspects of the natural history of Canada and mark the 150th anniversary of Canada.
