Start date: 1 February, 2017
End date: 29 December, 2017
150 Edmonton Volunteer Voices will share 150 stories of Edmonton volunteers throughout the year using a dynamic web and media campaign.
150 Edmontonians of all ages, genders, abilities, minorities, volunteer roles etc. will tell their story of how volunteering benefits them and their community.
Volunteers who participate in the campaign will receive an ECVO commissioned art print by an indigenous artist in recognition of their volunteer contribution. An indigenous artist will create the art print.
The legacy of the project will be a captivating book of stories and the retelling of Edmonton’s rich volunteer history. Edmonton history is truly a history of volunteerism. Our city was built on the backs of volunteers committed to helping their community flourish through volunteer action.
