Buffalo Home Coming Celebration

We are organising a celebration of the return of the bison to Banff National Park. This will occur over two days in February 2017 and will focus on the belonging of the bison to this park and help connect our understanding of the buffalo cultural values and celebrate Canada's first national park.
Nature of the Project Reach
Banff National Park belongs to all canadian and it is also a World Heritage Sites. This specific project will target the resident of southern Alberta, with a regional focus on Lake Louise, Banff, Canmore, Exshaw and Morley communities to be ambassadors for the years to come about the return of the bison.
To engage the citizens of Southern Alberta, with a regional focus on Lake Louise, Banff, Canmore, Exshaw and Morley communities in the bison restoration through two events, one targeted at youth and one targeted at the general population. This will happen few weeks after the hooves touched their new home in the park.
